Lazy Moose Rules and Policies
Breaking any of these rules may result in permanent eviction from your site.
- Quiet time is 10:00pm.
- Absolutely NO tents are allowed on your site or cabin! We do not allow or offer tent camping.
- ATV and golf carts are only allowed to exit and enter the campground. Do not drive on the grass or use the roads as a racetrack.
- Children are not allowed to drive ATVs, golf carts, or other vehicles on resort property. Operators must have a valid driver’s license.
- Pets are welcome, but must be leashed, and cleaned up after. Excessive barking will not be tolerated. Failure to do so and you will be asked to leave your pets at home or at the boarding kennels.
- Keep all firewood and kindling stacked neatly in piles.
- Please keep garbage picked up and put in the dumpster.
- The dumpster is for garbage only, please do not put TVs, microwaves, mattresses, chairs, lawn furniture, tires, or appliances in or around dumpster.
- Speed limit at the resort is 10 MPH for all vehicles.
- Please clean all fish in the fish house and help keep it clean.
- If you did not pay for a dock, please do not tie up to a dock.
- Storage sheds are allowed but must be pre-approved and have a building permit from Barron County Zoning. Failure to do so will result in immediate removal of the shed.
- Decks and covered decks are allowed but must first be pre-approved and have a building permit from Barron County Zoning. Failure to do so will result in immediate removal of deck.
- Campers are responsible for mowing and trimming your site. Equipment is available for use, please inquire at the house. Failure to do so will result in $15.00 charge per cutting. Resort owner will mow each site but will not move furniture, camper is responsible for any areas he cannot easily access.
- Only 2 vehicles allowed per site. Any extra vehicles, boats, and trailers must be parked in the storage area. This includes visitor’s vehicles.
- If you have guests staying at your site, please have them check-in at the house. This is for the safety of all involved.
- If you sell your camper, do not include the lot rent. Purchase of a camper in the campground does not guarantee a site at the resort. If you move out of the campground, there is no refund of monies paid for rent.
- Any destruction of any property owned by Lazy Moose Resort will terminate your season immediately, and it will be your responsibility to pay for repairs or replacements.
- Lot marker signs are put up as a State requirement and will help with your safety in the case of an emergency. Please do not remove, damage or move these signs. Any repairs or replacements will lead to additional charges.
- Campers must maintain another residence outside of the campground.
- Campers are not allowed to remove backflow protectors.
- You may leave your camper on your site year to year but our camping season runs from May 1st to the 1 st weekend in October. You may use your camper in the winter, but the water is turned off in October, and the roads will not be plowed in the campground.
- Seasonal lot rent is due by May 1st. After May 1st there will be a late fee of $100.00 per month.
